Mr. Schiwitz was born on July 31, 1923 in Commerce, Mo., the son of Arthur Albert and Mary Pearl Fullerton Schiwitz. He married Mildred Stuckey on May 15, 1943 in Cape Girardeau. Mr. Schiwitz is survived by his wife, Mildred Schiwitz of Benton, Mo.; four sons, Arthur "Bud" Schiwitz of Benton, Mo., Robert Schiwitz of Benton, Mo., Kenny Schiwitz of Kelso, Mo. and Fred Schiwitz of Benton, Mo.; three daughters, Barbara Cook of Jefferson City, Mo., Jane Lambert of Benton, Mo. and Susan Nolan of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Henry Schiwitz of Benton, Mo. and Edward Schiwitz of Scott City, Mo. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Shaina Schiwitz, Gina Schiwitz, Rachel Crumbey, Sara Duffield, Ashley Cook, Tai Wilburn, Amber Cheneler, Jaimie Harmon, Travis Schiwitz, Jason Schiwitz and Beau Lambert; and three great grandchildren, Bobby Crumbey, Brenden Cheneler and Kaitlyn Wilburn. Visitation will begin at 5:00 on Saturday, June 5 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 1999 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, the Rev. Dale Huff and the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton.
