Art Seboldt

Art Seboldt passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2019, at the age of 92.

He was born in Springfield, Missouri, to the Rev. GB and Esther Seboldt, the second of four sons. He married Mildred Grossheider in August 1949.

He served as a Lutheran teacher and principal for 21 years. In 1971, he and Mildred returned to Cape Girardeau where he worked at Cape State Bank for 21 years.

Art was preceded in death by his only child, Mark, his parents and his brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mildred; his daughter-in-law, Pam; and three grandchildren, Josh (Dottie), Elizabeth Goggins (Corey) and Caleb (Kelly). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral and burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran in Gordonville.
