ARNOLD SCHOEN

ORAN, Mo. -- Memorial Mass for Arnold Michael Schoen of St. Louis was held July 8 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in St. Louis. Interment will be private at a later date.

John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home in St. Louis was in charge of arrangements.

Schoen, 72, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at his home.

He was born April 22, 1928, at Oran, son of Lawrence and Bertha Kapfer Schoen. He and Mary L. Myers were married Sept. 30, 1953. She died Sept. 7, 1998.

Schoen worked at Schnucks 30 years. He was a member of UFCW Local 655.

Survivors include two sons, Steven and Thomas Schoen of the St. Louis area; two daughters, Susan and Barbara Schoen of the St. Louis area; a brother, LaVerne Bucher of Pacific, Mo.; two sisters, Loretta Ross of St. Louis, Elvira Stone of Omaha, Neb.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
