JACKSON -- Arnold E. Lohmann, of Jackson, died Friday, Aug. 26, 1994, at Pershing Veterans Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was born May 15, 1912, at Cape Girardeau, son of Edward and Emma Kohlfeld Lohmann.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include three sons, Ronnie Lohmann of Cape Girardeau, David Lohmann and Phillip Lohmann, both of Findlay, Ohio; brothers, Richard Lohmann, of St. Louis, Clarence Lohmann, Cape Girardeau, and Elmer Lohmann, Scott City; sister, Erma Richter of Jackson; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and a great grandson.
Lohmann was a self employed excavator and landscaper.
He formerly lived in Hancock County, Ohio and moved to Jackson in 1978.
Service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at McCombs Funeral Chapel at Jackson, with Monsignor Edward Eftink of Immaculate Conception Church, officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A parish prayers service will be held at 7 p.m.
