ARNO THOMURE

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Arno C. Thomure of East Prairie will be held at 1 p.m. today at Shelby Funral Home in East Prairie. Bobby Mouser and Winfred Wren will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

Thomure, 75, died Monday, Nov. 25, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born May 13, 1921, at Flat River, son of William T. and Hassie Evans Thomure. He and Lovie Doris Ward were married Oct. 4, 1941. She died July 7, 1996.

Thomure was employed by Thomure Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Sikeston.

Survivors include two sons, Claud and Benny Thomure of East Prairie; a daughter, Joyce Parham of East Prairie; four sisters, Tina Hunt of East Prairie, Margie Burgess and Doris Rule of St. Ann, Lena Presson of Marble Hill; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
