Arneta Davis

Arneta R. Davis, 91, of Jackson died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at the Monticello House in Jackson.

She was born Oct. 7, 1916, at Grassy, Mo., daughter of Grover C. and Nellie R. Perkins Miller. She and Bruce Davis were married in 1935, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include a brother, Rhodi Miller of Wood River, Ill., and four sisters, Naomi Foster of Alton, Ill., Lois Oller of Wood River, Glenora Sitze of Marble Hill, Mo., and Nadine Headrick of North Fort Meyers, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Friendship Cemetery.
