PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Armin Ernst Mueller, 81, of Perryville died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born March 16, 1937, in Perry County, Missouri, son of Ernst H. and Bertha K. Luehrs Mueller. He married Gladys M. Lohmann on July 30, 1966. She preceded him in death July 19, 2012...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Armin Ernst Mueller, 81, of Perryville died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 16, 1937, in Perry County, Missouri, son of Ernst H. and Bertha K. Luehrs Mueller. He married Gladys M. Lohmann on July 30, 1966. She preceded him in death July 19, 2012.

Armin was a farmer of both livestock and agriculture. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Missouri, and served on the finance board and sang in the choir. Armin lived his life in the proper order of faith, family and farming.

Survivors include a son and a daughter, Kerry Mueller and Gail Mueller, both of Perryville; a sister, Florence (Donald) Steffens of Perryville; a brother-in-law, Nelson Roth of Frohna, Missouri; and four sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Lloyd) Schoenbeck of Ellis Grove, Illinois, Maxine Lohmann of Perryville, Linda (Orville) Ehlers of Fruitland and Viola (Mark) Schilli of Ozora, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a brother, Erwin (Wilma) Mueller; seven sisters, Oneida (Ernst) Mahnken, Thekla Mueller, Esther (Orville) Bachmann, Agnes (Cleo) Martin, Mildred (Vernon) Bachmann, Elinor (Raymond) Roth and Eunice Roth; a sister-in-law, Ruth (Donald) Kalsow; and a brother-in-law, Walter Lohmann Jr.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

He will then be taken to Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar for a service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Church or Lutheran Hour Ministries.
