Armella C. Alt, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, June 1, 1998, at the Lutheran Home. She was born Jan. 31, 1912, at New Hamburg, daughter of Andrew and Catherine Dannenmueller Dirnberger. She and George T. Alt were married Nov. 6, 1942, in Abilene, Texas. He died April 19, 1984...

Armella C. Alt, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, June 1, 1998, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Jan. 31, 1912, at New Hamburg, daughter of Andrew and Catherine Dannenmueller Dirnberger. She and George T. Alt were married Nov. 6, 1942, in Abilene, Texas. He died April 19, 1984.

Alt had been a secretary at Drury Industries. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Harry Schlitt officiating. Burial will be in New Lorimier Cemetery.
