DEXTER, Mo. -- Arlie Richard Lewis, 43, of Dexter died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born June 15, 1957, at Dexter, son of John and Jessie Pullum Lewis. He and Pattie Ewing were married Dec. 12, 1983, at Dexter.
Lewis had lived in the Dexter area most of his life. He was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Arlie Lewis Jr. and Joshua Lewis of Dexter; a brother, Bill Lewis of Charleston, Mo.; three sisters, Phebia Lacy of Dexter, Julia Taylor of Mountain Grove, Mo., and Carol Richmond of Wappapello, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Richmond officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
