Jeames Aric Beckham, 36, formerly of Jackson, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano. Aric had resided in Dallas several years.

He was born Oct. 28, 1972, in Alton, Ill., son of Kenneth A. and Joyce Moore Beckham.

Beckham was a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School and earned his accounting degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson. Aric worked several years in accounting for Starwood Hotel Group in St. Louis and Dallas. He also enjoyed working as an usher for theaters in the Dallas area and was an avid reader.

Loving survivors include his mother and stepfather, Joyce and Chuck Penland of Jackson; father and stepmother, Kenneth and Dawn Beckham of Guam; two brothers, Brad (Kirstin) Beckham of Ozark, Mo., Nathan (Kristina) Penland of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Andrea Penland of Ozark; maternal grandparents, Dale and Melba Moore of Medora, Ill.; paternal grandmother, Una Mae Beckham of Farmington, Mo.; and three nieces, Hannah, Abby and Elizabeth Beckham.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, T.H. Beckham and Paul and Opal Penland.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, Mo.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Raney officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery west of Doniphan.

Local arrangements are by McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeames Aric Beckham Educational Memorial Fund for the benefit of his three nieces whom he dearly loved. Contributions may be made at any Bank of Missouri location.
