AREVILLIE OWENS

JACKSON - Arevillie Owens, of Jackson Manor, formerly of Cypress, Ill., died Dec. 25, 1991 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was 78.

She was born Sept. 2, 1913 in Franklin County, Ala. to Robert and Elizabeth Coates Patterson. On Oct. 11, 1930, she married Frank C. Owens at Cherokee, Ala.

They moved to Southern Illinois in 1939. He died March 24, 1982.

She was a member of Luther's Chapel Methodist Church in White Hill, Ill.

Surviving are a daughter, Lorene Robbins of Dryden, N.Y.; sons Marvin Owens of Lockport, Ky. and Louis Owens of Jackson Route 6; a brother, Raymond Patterson of Glen, Miss.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers, two sisters, and a daughter preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral home in Karnak, Ill. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Luthers Chapel Methodist Church in White Hill, and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
