JACKSON -- Ardena Dalby, 75, of Jackson died Wednesday, April 29, 1998, at Heritage Gardens. She was born Sept. 19, 1922, in Leakey, Texas, daughter of James Edward and Annie Laurie Crawford Boren. She married Elmer Brooks and Jack Dalby, both of whom preceded her in death...

JACKSON -- Ardena Dalby, 75, of Jackson died Wednesday, April 29, 1998, at Heritage Gardens.

She was born Sept. 19, 1922, in Leakey, Texas, daughter of James Edward and Annie Laurie Crawford Boren. She married Elmer Brooks and Jack Dalby, both of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons, Edward and Rusty Brooks of Ashland City, Tenn., Bill and Tommy Brooks of Coos Bay, Ore.; two daughters, Gail Brooks of Sweet Valley, Pa., Pam Brooks of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.; a sister, Vera O'Rear of Jal, N.M.; 23 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday in Illinois.
