ARCHIE A. WILLIAMS

DEXTER -- Graveside service for Archie A. Williams of Dexter will be held at 10 a.m. today at Zion Cemetery near Bloomfield. Dale Grissom will officiate, with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home at Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

Williams, 85, died Monday, May 4, 1992, at Crowley Ridge Care Center here.

He was born Dec. 25, 1906, at Aquilla, son of Frank and Sara Williams. He married the former Lona Mae Parmenter.

Williams was a retired truck driver, and member of the Church of Christ at Dexter.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Robert Williams of Burkburnett, Texas, James Williams of St. Louis, Gary Williams of Nashville, Tenn., Eddie Williams of Bloomfield; four daughters, Ann Ruddick of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Patsy Layton of Centerville, Nancy Williams of Cape Girardeau, Mary Gilles of Dexter; a brother, Loy Williams of California; a half brother, Melvin Williams of Bloomfield; 18 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
