CHAFFEE -- Anton "Tony" Enderle, 83, of Chaffee died Thursday, Aug. 3, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 15, 1912, at Kelso, son of Peter and Katherine Gosche Enderle. He married Lorena Gosche on May 20, 1944.
Enderle was a retired farmer and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, the Chaffee VFW Post 3127 and Disabled American Veterans of Cape Girardeau County Chapter 16.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Enderle of Modesto, Calif.; two daughters, Mary Rose Enderle of Independence and Katie Wilder of St. Louis; three brothers, Ben Enderle of Kelso, and Ed and Andy Enderle, both of Chaffee; and a grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be recited at 7 p.m. at the chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, with the Rev. James Seyer officiating. Burial will be at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.
