ANOLA E. JONES

EAST CAPE, Ill. - Former East Cape Girardeau resident Anola E. Jones, 87, of Wyandotte, Mich., died Thursday, Feb. 14, 1991.

Jones, also formerly of Wolf Lake, died at the Allen Park Nursing Home in Allen Park, Mich.

She was born March 1, 1903 to Lee Burris and Florence Slaughter. She married Ted Jones July 22, 1957 at Cairo. He died Aug. 7, 1970.

Surviving are a step-son, Eugene Atherton of Marlette, Mich.; a step-daughter, Juanita Fox of Westland, Mich.; and nieces and nephews.

Jones, a housewife, was a member of the East Cape Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Raymond Oxford will officiate.

Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Monday.
