Annie Inez Owen, 97, of Scott City died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 15, 1918, in Berkley, Kentucky, to Orion Lendal and Laura Isabel Morland Brock.
She married James Franklin Owen on Dec. 3, 1939. He preceded her in death Feb. 19, 1989.
She is survived by two sons, Eddie (Linda) Owen and Kenny (Linda) Owen, both of Scott City; two daughters, Carol Hale and Kathy (Melvin) Enderle, both of Scott City; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, J. Louise Dodson and Mary Ann Hale; five brothers; six sisters; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, with the Rev. Mark Carbaugh officiating.
