Annie Mae Lattin, 75, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Friday, June 2, 2006, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on Nov. 17, 1930, at Columbus, Ky., daughter of Rufus and Myrtle Berry Summers.
She and the Rev. Josh Dowell were married in 1952 in Cairo. In 1960, she married the Rev. Willie Lattin. He died in 1985.
She worked at the N'Orleans restaurant and Parkwood Manor. She retired in 1992.
She was a member of the Rhema Word Breakthrough International Ministries Church in Cape Girardeau, where she served as a church mother and was on the usher board.
Survivors include five sons, Eugene Melvin, Albert Summers and Raymond Dowell, all of Chicago; Sherman Lattin of Merryville, Ind., Norman Lattin of St. Louis; six daughters, Lillie Swiney and Marie Dowell of Murphysboro, Ill., Helen Porter of Carbondale, Ill., Shirley Lattin of Springfield, Ill., Betty Smith of Cape Girardeau, Brenda Lattin-Alford of Boston; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a son.
Friends may call Monday at Rhema Word Breakthrough International Ministries Church from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the church, with pastor A.G. Green officiating. Burial will be in New Lorimier Cemetery.
Massie Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
