Annette Gail Farrar, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend passed Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at her home in Jackson.
Annette was born Dec. 14, 1957, in Cape Girardeau to William and Wintress Carney Daugherty. She married Brad G. Farrar on Oct. 12, 2005, in St. Louis.
A member of the Cape County Cowboy Church, Annette was best known for the love and kindness she brought to her community. Annette was the type of person who would call a neighbor or an old friend she hadn't seen in years just to see how they were. She lived in a modern time, but her love was old-fashioned, genuine and unconditional. Annette's heart was made of gold, and her love shone brightly on those fortunate enough to know her.
Though her father, William, predeceased her, Annette is lovingly survived by her husband, Brad; daughter, Alaina Kristen Reddick; mother, Wintress Daugherty; and her stepchildren, Ashley and Jason Farrar.
Visitation will be held Monday from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
It will be followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Jim Matthews.
Should you wish to make a contribution in Annette's name, the family requests such donations be made to a charity of your choice.
In lieu of a financial contribution, Annette's memory may be kept alive by acts of kindness towards others, especially in times of need.
