Anne Hollenbeck

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Anne L. Hollenbeck, 71, of Sikeston died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Marshall and Pauline Simpson Hollenbeck.

She was retired from the Des Moines, Iowa, public school system, where she taught third grade. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, served on the Sikeston Public Library Board for many years and was a volunteer at the Sikeston Depot Museum.

Survivors include a brother, John Hollenbeck Sr. of New Port Beach, Calif.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m at the church, with the Rev. William F. Koch officiating.
