Ann F. Tuthill Wiethop, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, at her home.
She was born Dec. 25, 1924, in Nashville, Tenn., daughter of L.B. and Flossie Melton Tuthill. She and Carroll Wiethop were married July 24, 1943, in St. Louis.
Mrs. Wiethop grew up in St. Louis, moved to Cape Girardeau in 1954 and she and her husband established Wiethop Truck Sales. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ. She was a past member of Pilots Club, Four Seasons Garden Club, Kage Extension Club, and active in Christian Women's Club and Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dan Wiethop and wife Evelyn of Cape Girardeau, David Wiethop of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Pat Renner and husband Gilbert of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Jean Hoffmann of St. Louis, Linda Ruf of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandsons, Matt Wiethop, Scott and Timothy Renner, all of Cape Girardeau; three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Cole and Shelby Renner.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Heckman officiating. The Rev. Daniel Hackney will deliver a pre-service eulogy. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Memorials are requested to Evangelical United Church of Christ.
