TAMMS, Ill. -- Anna May Tatum, 75, of Tamms, died Tuesday, July 16, 1996, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.
She was born Jan. 31, 1921, in Elco, daughter of Leonard and Nellie Bridges Dillman. She and Clyde Tatum Sr. were married Dec. 3, 1936. He died April 17, 1968.
Tatum was a member of Elco Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Carolyn Kee of Olive Branch, Kathryn Provo of Rochelle, Karen Kennedy of Olive Branch, Evelyn Jost of Kerrville, Texas; three sons, Clyde Tatum Jr. of Tamms, Billy and Leroy Tatum of Thebes; two brothers, Merriton Sharp of Glen Carbon, Farrell Dillman of Peoria; two sisters, Mary Stevenson of Worden, Marie Holt of Granite City; 12 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three grandsons and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lacie Betts officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
