Anna Marie Schwab, 93, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at her home.
She was born April 8, 1923, in Cape Girardeau to the late Jesse C. and Henrietta H. Nitsch Ford. She and Alfred B. Schwab were married Monday, Feb. 3, 1947, at Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1993.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Survivors include three daughters, Jacque (Joe) Aden of McClure, Illinois, Nancy (Mac) Downs of Frisco, Texas, and Sandy White of Longwood, Florida; three sisters, Dorothy Griffith of Fairlawn, Ohio, Shirley Sweet of Cape Girardeau and Helen Conrad of Jackson; seven grandchildren, Todd Swope, Kim Pennel, Tyler Downs, Meghan Horst, Phillip White, Shelly McMahan and Shannon Aden; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred B. Schwab; sister, Ruth Wills; and son-in-law, Gregg White.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau, with parish prayers at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Joe Kelly officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Mary's Cathedral Building Fund.
