SIKESTON -- Anna Sue Colliflower Hanes, 70, of Sikeston died Friday, Aug. 25, 1995, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born May 5, 1925, in East Prairie to William Elbert and Alma Mae Woodward Lindsey.
She was employed with AT&T in Aurora, Ill., for 20 years before returning to Mississippi County where she was owner and operator of Ann's Restaurant in East Prairie until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Charleston, the Rebekah Lodge in Charleston, the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Eldridge of Caseyville, Ill., and Johnny Colliflower of Vacaville, Calif.; a daughter, Helen Swords of Montgomery, Ill.; a brother, Ed Lindsey of Charleston; two sisters, Edith Lough of Bertrand and Dorothy Morris Reeder of Sikeston; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Rev. George White of the First Baptist Church of East Prairie and Rev. Gerald Collier of the First Baptist Church of Charleston officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
