Anna L. Ruch, 76, of Millersville passed away Monday, July 24, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Daisy, daughter of Bert and Bessie Bollinger Hahs. She and LeRoy J. Ruch were married June 17, 1950. He survives...

Anna L. Ruch, 76, of Millersville passed away Monday, July 24, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Daisy, daughter of Bert and Bessie Bollinger Hahs. She and LeRoy J. Ruch were married June 17, 1950. He survives.

Ann was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson and St. Ann's Sodality for 56 years, as well as being a church office volunteer and a member of the church finance committee.

She owned and operated Ann Ruch Tax Service, was a partner in Ruch Charolais Farms, a 4-H Leader for many years, and member of the American International Charolais Association.

Ann volunteered at the SEMO District Fair in the livestock area, and was an avid gardener.

Loving survivors include her husband of 56 years; a daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Don Leckrone of Springfield, Ill.; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Matthew and Kateri Ruch of Daisy, Dennis and Vickie Ruch, Tim Ruch, and Jeremy Ruch, all of Millersville.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, Scott, Clay, Amy DeWeese, and David Leckrone; Mindy, Ryan, and Emily Ruch; Trisha, Cory, and Ethan Ruch; Dillon Ruch; and Alexis Ruch; two great-granddaughters, Paige Nicole DeWeese, and Madison Sides.

Also surviving are four siblings, Dorenda (Hubert) Haupt of Blue Springs, Mo., Delbert Leon (Betty Lou) Hahs of Daisy, Betty Friese of Friedheim, Marybelle (Cletus) Rohde of Friedheim; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rhonda F. Abbott; and a brother-in-law, Nelson Friese.

Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, with parish prayers at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
