THEBES, Ill. -- Anna Bell Phillips, 92, of Thebes died Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 18, 1910, in Alto Pass, Ill., daughter of Willis and Bertha King Wilson. She married Jesse Phillips, who died in 1972.
Survivors include three sons, Clifford "Bud" and Eddie Phillips of Thebes, Jim Phillips of Vandalia, Ill.; a daughter, Bernice Range of Panama, N.Y.; two sisters, Mara Davis of Anna, Ill., Gladys Land of Jonesboro, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister, and three brothers.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Dennis Baker and Billy Don Heady officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Olive Branch, Ill.
