PERRYVILLE -- Anna Marie Moore, 81, died Thursday, May 2, 1996, at Ste. Genevieve Hospital.
She was born May 10, 1914, in St. Louis, daughter of Kenrick and Sarah Higgs Layton. She and Edward Moore were married July 21, 1934. He died May 23, 1989.
Moore was a member of Ladies Sodality of Christ the Savior Catholic Church at Brewer.
Survivors include three sons, William "Bill" Moore of Hammond, La., Edward "Terry" Moore of Folsom, La., John Moore of Brewer; three daughters, Sister Marilyn Moore of Mobile, Ala., Helen Kenny of St. Louis, Patricia Maevers of Jackson; five sisters, Lenita Cissell of St. Louis, Aline Reiss of Sereno, Beryl Moore of Brewer, Doris Nickelson of Hurdle Mills, N.C., Bea Brown of Trenton, Ill.; 15 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, and the rosary at 9 a.m. Monday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Christ the Savior Church, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
