CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Anna Francis Maples, 94, of Chaffee died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
She was born March 17, 1908, in Wayne County. She and James E. Maples were married Dec. 12, 1928. He died Oct. 23, 1983.
Maples was a member of the Assembly of God Church, and was formerly of Puxico, Mo.
Survivors include a son, Herman Maples of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Hazel Short of Jackson, Helen Wilson of Whitewater, Connie Spane of Chaffee; a brother, Ervin Westbrook of St. Louis; two sisters, Sylvia Stapp of Chaffee, Lora Maguffie of Flint, Mich.; nine grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a great-great-stepgrandchild.
Friends may call at Morgan Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico after 4 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Puxico City Cemetery.
