ANNA MANN

ESSEX, Mo. -- Anna Hart Mann, 92, of Essex died Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at the Beverly Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Dexter, Mo.

She was born Oct. 21, 1908, to the late James Sherman and Rachel Piota (Covalt) Bruce.

She married Joe G. Hart on July 13, 1927, at Edwardsville, Ill. He died Dec. 13, 1970.

She married Frank Mann on March 5, 1976, at Dexter. He died Feb. 26, 1991.

She had worked at the Elder Manufacturing Co. and the Weber's Ben Franklin Store for several years before retiring in 1975.

Survivors are two sons, M.A. Hart of Dexter and Jerry Hart of Russellville, Ark.; a brother, Joseph R. Bruce of Flint, Mich.; seven grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-stepgranddaughters; three great-great-grandchildren; and six foster great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Hart officiating and grandson Kim Hart assisting. Burial will be in the Hagy Cemetery.
