CHARLESTON -- Funeral mass for Anna Mary Ressel of Charleston will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton. The Rev. James Reynolds will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton after 5 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Ressel, 90, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 1995, at Charleston Manor.

She was born Jan. 15, 1905, at Benton, daughter of Charles and Mary Katherine Essner Ressel.

Ressel had been a housekeeper, and was a member of St. Denis Church.

Survivors include five sisters, Sister Norma Ressel and Sister Patricia Ressel of Techney, Ill., Sister Sienna Ressel of Hyattsville, Md., Marcella Lankheit of Charleston, and Theodora Childs of Flint Hill.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.
