ANNA M. MERKLE

Anna M. Merkle, 93, 2209 Melrose, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1993, at the Lutheran Home. She was born March 10, 1900, in Carlyle, Ill., daughter of John and Anna Kohler Heldorfer. She and John Merkle were married Sept. 22, 1924, in St. Louis. He died Feb. 3, 1988...

Anna M. Merkle, 93, 2209 Melrose, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born March 10, 1900, in Carlyle, Ill., daughter of John and Anna Kohler Heldorfer. She and John Merkle were married Sept. 22, 1924, in St. Louis. He died Feb. 3, 1988.

Merkle was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Radetic of Cape Girardeau, Carol Giegling of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and six sisters.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. George Catholic Church in St. Louis. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, with John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at Ziegenhein from 2-9 p.m. today.
