TAMMS, Ill. -- Anna Mae Pickett Frost, 89, of Elco, died Tuesday, April 6, 1993, at City Care Center in Anna. She was born Sept. 5, 1903, in Corona, Ala., daughter of John Lee and Annie Sides King. She and Lester Pickett were married June 30, 1919. He died Jan. 6, 1970. She later married Daniel Frost, who died June 26, 1990...

TAMMS, Ill. -- Anna Mae Pickett Frost, 89, of Elco, died Tuesday, April 6, 1993, at City Care Center in Anna.

She was born Sept. 5, 1903, in Corona, Ala., daughter of John Lee and Annie Sides King. She and Lester Pickett were married June 30, 1919. He died Jan. 6, 1970. She later married Daniel Frost, who died June 26, 1990.

Frost was a retired postmaster, and member of Elco Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lester and J.B. Pickett of Tamms; a foster son, Paul Pickett of Chicago; a foster daughter, Carolyn Crosson of Fitzgerald, Ga.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Tamms. The Rev. Tom Bailey will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
