SIKESTON, Mo. -- Anna Louise "Teeny" Lynn, 89, of rural Sikeston died Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 4, 1926, in the Birds Point community of Mississippi County, Missouri, to the late S.O. and Gertrude Caldwell Brown. On April 9, 1951, she married Cecil R. "Nip" Lynn, who preceded her in death Aug. 2, 2009.
A graduate of Diehlstadt (Missouri) High School, she moved to Scott County in 1951, where she was a member of the New Savannah Baptist Church. She loved her family and especially enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Terry (Nancy) Lynn of Chaffee, Missouri, and Gary (Cindy) Lynn of Sikeston; a sister, Peggy (Richard) Griggs of Charleston, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Tonya Renay (Adam) Rutledge of Pittsburgh, Nicole Lynn of Vallejo, California, Jeremy Lynn of Greer, South Carolina, and Jerrod Lynn of Sikeston.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny "Flat" Brown, J.P. Brown and Clyde "Billy" Brown; and two sisters, Christine Davidson and Mildred Fesmire.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ken Bollinger, pastor of the New Savannah Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Unity Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Lynn, Jerrod Lynn, Todd Brown, Larry Brown, Doug Lynn and Richard Griggs.
