Anna Lee Livers, 78, of Jackson passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at her home. She was born March 22, 1927, in Dongola, Mo., daughter of Henry A. and Vida C. Hahn Crites. She and Joseph D. Livers were married Dec. 23, 1943. at Bloomfield, Mo. He passed away Nov. 16, 1992...

Anna Lee Livers, 78, of Jackson passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at her home.

She was born March 22, 1927, in Dongola, Mo., daughter of Henry A. and Vida C. Hahn Crites. She and Joseph D. Livers were married Dec. 23, 1943. at Bloomfield, Mo. He passed away Nov. 16, 1992.

Anna was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, St. Ann's Sodality and Knights of Columbus Ladies' Auxiliary. She had worked at Jackson Bait and Tackle and volunteered at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for several years.

Loving survivors include three sons, Jerry L. Livers and wife Kelly of Houston, Texas, Joseph D. "Joey" Livers Jr. and wife Elaine of Kaplan, La., James P. "Phil" Livers and wife Cindy of Tularosa, N.M.; three daughters, Brenda L. Bartels and husband Wes, Sharon L. Jones and husband Kenny, Teresa E. Scheffel and fiance Ron McDowell, all of Jackson; a special nephew, Robby Hardin and wife Janice of Cuba, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. with rosary immediately following.

Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Advance, Mo.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Immaculate Conception Building Fund.
