BLOOMFIELD -- Anna Lois Underwood, 66, of Bloomfield, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 23, 1926, near Bloomfield, daughter of Clyde and Pearl Baker Cook. She and Elmer Underwood were married Jan. 30, 1946.
Underwood was co-owner and operator of Jean and Ann's Beauty Shop the past 34 years. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 385.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Dennis Underwood of Cape Girardeau, Ron Underwood of Sikeston, Don Underwood of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Karen Ziegenhorn of Sikeston; her mother of Bloomfield; two brothers, Larry Cook of Dallas, Texas, Gary Cook of Detroit, Mich.; three sisters, Wanda Pullum and Susie McCollum of Bloomfield, Colleen Sykes of Dixon, Tenn., and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Dallas Reagan and Vyron Yount will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
