JACKSON -- Anna Jaco, 83, formerly of Jackson, died Monday, Jan. 3, 1994, at the Ratliff Nursing Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 12, 1910, at Tilsit, Mo., daughter of August and Wilhelmina Sperling Ahrens.
She married Charley Jaco in 1929. He died June 9, 1950.
Jaco resided at the Jefferson Manor Nursing Home for 12 years. For the past five months, she has lived at the Ratliff Nursing Home.
She lived in Jackson for many years and did domestic work from her home.
Jaco was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary Enke of McClure, Ill.; a sister, Bertha Kester of Friedheim, Mo.; a grandson; two great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a granddaughters.
Friends may call from noon to the time of funeral services Thursday at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson, with the Rev. Robert Henrich officiating.
Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
