Anna June Messer, 68, of Bloomfield died Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Nov. 17, 1927, in Richland, the daughter of Herbert Franklin and Eliza Katheryn Sheeley Goff. She married Donald E. Messer on June 26, 1948, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1993.
Messer retired from Elder Manufacturing in 1993 after 47 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna K. Hinkle of Advance; four sisters, Glenneth Robison and Virginia Hopkins of Bloomfield, Dorothy Kight of St. Louis and Betty Gregory of Cape Girardeau; and three brothers, Kenneth Goff of Crocker, Allen S. Goff of Waynesboro, Va., and James Goff of Lakeland, Fla.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Edsel Pruett and the Rev. Dallas Reagan officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
