SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Miss Anna Irene Matthews of Sikeston will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jim Matthews will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Miss Matthews, 78 years old, died Monday, Feb. 11, 1991, at Hunter Acres Caring Center.

She was born March 2, 1912, at Sikeston, daughter of Thomas Leonard and Clara Joyce Matthews.

Miss Matthews worked at International Shoe Co. 30 years, and was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Elmer Matthews of Sikeston; a nephew and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
