LICK CREEK, Ill. -- Anna Pauline Gurley, 91, of Lick Creek died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.
She was born Dec. 6, 1915, at Mount Pleasant, Ill., daughter of Jason and Nancy Osman Casey. She and Vern Leroy Gurley were married Aug. 19, 1933, in Anna. He died Jan. 16, 1996.
Gurley owned and operated Fashion Land many years in Anna. She was a member of Ebenezer Hall Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Myra Bowen of Lick Creek; a sister, Valda Keller of Jonesboro, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, five brothers and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jay Franklin and Glenn Webb will officiate. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
