CHESTER, Ill. -- Graveside service for Anna D. Edler of Chester will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, with the Rev. Mark Willig officiating.
Friends may call at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester from 1-2 p.m.
Edler, 101, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home.
She was born July 2, 1898, in Palestine, Ill., daughter of Fritz and Anna Schaack Bodeker. She and Benjamin Edler were married March 2, 1920, in Chester. He died Nov. 9, 1935.
Edler was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Leila Boldrey of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a granddaughter.
