Anna Crole

Anna Emma Crole, 92, of Jackson, passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 17, 1924, in Mississippi, daughter of George P. and Blanche G. Reiss Teasley. She and Charles Crole were married in 1970. He passed away November 27, 2012.

Anna worked for Remington Small Arms in St. Louis, the International Shoe Company in Sikeston, Missouri, and in student placement for many years at SEMO in Cape Girardeau. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Jackson and was a former Eastern Star member in Sikeston.

Loving survivors include a son, Mark Alan Keene of Sikeston; two grandchildren, Michael Keene of Lexington, Kentucky and Lauren (Brandon) Maeser of Greenville, Kentucky; a great-granddaughter, Laila Maeser; two sisters, Dottie Owens of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Eleanor and Don Shuck of Cape Girardeau.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Burton.

The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Paul Graham officiating.
