NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Anna Marie Brucker, 80, of New Hamburg passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Miner Nursing Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born Dec. 27, 1931, in Gordonville, to Walter J. and Hazel Eakins Hennecke. Anna and Clarence J. Brucker were married March 1, 1949. He preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1989.
Anna was a machine operator at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Chaffee, Mo. She then worked 28 years as a presser at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg and St. Ann Sodality.
Survivors include a son, Douglas J. (Sheryl) Brucker of New Hamburg; a daughter, Darlene A. Margrabe of Sikeston; two grandchildren, Jodi L. Margrabe and Eric S. Margrabe of Sikeston; three great-grandchildren, Dustin J. Deen, Justin W. Deen and Steven A. Margrabe, all of Sikeston; a brother, William W. (Gail) Hennecke of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Frances (Horace) Hitt of Cape Girardeau, Connie (Lonnie) Myers of Marble Hill, Mo., and Donna (Don) Voorhes of Fruitland.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Lee, Charles E. and Bobby R. Hennecke.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, Mo. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Lawrence Church, with the Rev. William Hennecke as celebrant and the Rev. Michael Casteel as concelebrant. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Church Cemetery.
