Anna A. Ussery, 75, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, June 22, 1993, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center. She was born Sept. 15, 1917, daughter of Robert and Maude Beckette Diamond. She married Charles Ussery in 1934, in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1946. She then married Cecil Ussery in 1948 in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1978...

Anna A. Ussery, 75, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, June 22, 1993, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 15, 1917, daughter of Robert and Maude Beckette Diamond. She married Charles Ussery in 1934, in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1946. She then married Cecil Ussery in 1948 in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1978.

Ussery was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Carroll of Chaffee; three brothers, Robert Diamond and Bill Vantroba of Cape Girardeau, Walter Dudley of Patton; four sisters, Mary Maglone, Georgia Wren and Emma Gerlach of Cape Girardeau, Betty Riley of Scott City; two grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Michael Zoellner will officiate, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
