CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Ann M. Wortham, 81, of Columbia, Mo., died Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Columbia Manor.
She was born Jan. 20, 1925, at Chaffee, daughter of Clinton Clifton and Marcella Catherine Scherer Littlepage. She married James R. Wortham, who preceded her in death.
Wortham held a secretarial position with Monsanto, Boy Scouts, and Borden Ice Cream Co. She was employed by CDI 20 years. She had been active with VFW and American Legion auxiliaries.
Survivors include two daughters, LaDonne Tarpley of West Salem, Ill., Brenda Yamnitz of Hallsville, Mo.; a son, Gary Wortham of Ohio; three sisters, Wilma McGuire of Chaffee, Alma Schlitt of Oran, Mo., Clifta Cartwright of St. Louis; two brothers, Paul Littlepage of Chicago, C.J. Littlepage of Riverside, Calif.; seven grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles. Burial will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
