Ann Vinyard

Ann L. Vinyard, 83, passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 14, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Meta Voshage King Fiehler and Elmer King. She and David Vinyard were married Aug. 20, 1962. He preceded her in death Feb. 27, 1997.

Ann was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church in Jackson. She worked at the former Judy's Dress Shop in Jackson and the former Route 25 Banquet Hall.

Ann is survived by a daughter, Pam Wheeler of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Erma (Bill) Call and Clara (Leonard) Ahrens of Jackson; a brother, David (Mary) King of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, James Morrison.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joshua Burgard officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
