EAST PRAIRIE -- Ann Taylor, 65, of East Prairie, also known as Mary Lee Emanuel, died suddenly Sunday, Nov. 16, 1997, in Chicago.
She was born May 4, 1932, at Wyatt, daughter of Isom and Cherry Humphrey Dunigan. She and Napoleon Emanuel were married in 1949.
Taylor moved to Chicago in 1960, and back to Missouri in 1987. She was a member of Union Baptist Church at Pinhook.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Brewer of Chicago, Barbara Warkentin of Dixon, Ill.; three sons, Cellie Emanuel of Palmdale, Calif., Richard Emanuel of Charleston, Napoleon Emanuel Jr. of East Prairie; two sisters, Easter Williams of East Prairie, Ommie Branion of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a brother, Lester Dunigan of Rock Island, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 7-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
