CHAFFEE -- Anita Mary Hinkebein, 62, of Chaffee, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 19, 1928, at Benton, daughter of Zeno Frank and Marena Scherer LeGrand. She married Vernon Martin Hinkebein Jan. 11, 1949.
Hinkebein was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Daughters of St. Ambrose.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ted Hinkebein of Florissant, Charles Hinkebein of Chaffee Route 2; four daughters, Charlotte Dirnberger of Chaffee, Frances Horrell of Ste. Genevieve, Georgia Thiele of Leopold, Debbie Gaines of Oran; a brother, Marvin LeGrand of Chaffee; a sister, Virginia LeGrand of Scott City, and 16 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Church. The Rev. Quentin Hahn will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Normand Varone. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 2 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7, and KC service at 7:30.
