In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her two brothers, Nathan A. and Max M. Cobb; both husbands, William J. Parker of East Prairie and N.B. Key of New Madrid, Missouri; and grandson, Nicklas W. Presson of Denver.

Anita enjoyed being outside in the sunshine working in her yard and garden, and traveling to Hawaii to visit her brother, Nathan. She was a great lover of animals and cared deeply for the many abandoned dogs and cats who found their "forever home" of love and kindness at her doorstep in Benton. No animal that made its way to her was ever turned away. Anita was a devoted supporter of the Humane Society of the United States and the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She was dearly loved by her family and is greatly missed.

A private family gathering will be planned for later this year.
