ZALMA, Mo. -- Angie Garner Freeman, 49, of Zalma passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, near Leora, Missouri.
She was born May 23, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Troy and Hazel Woodfin Garner.
Angie was a secretary at Wade's Heating and Air in Zalma.
She was a graduate of Advance High School. She hosted several foreign exchange students and placed other students with families.
She loved being a mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her parents, Troy and Hazel Garner of Advance, Missouri; three sons, Jordan (Stephanie) Freeman of Gipsy, Missouri, Josh (Kyla) Freeman of Puxico, Missouri, and Charles Freeman of Zalma; two brothers, Denny (Shirley) Garner of St. Louis and Kenny (Marilyn) Garner of Knoxville, Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Aizlynn, Lexi and Cheston Freeman.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Little Valley Independent Baptist Church near Dongola, Missouri. T.J. Null will officiate.
Morgan Funeral Home in Advance is in charge of arrangements.
