ANGELA MASON

PERRYVILLE -- Angela N. Burfiend Mason, 91, of Perryville died Monday, July 6, 1998, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 20, 1901, at Frohna, daughter of Ernest and Martina Wirth Burfiend.

She married Richard T. Mason on Sept. 28, 1937. He died April 26, 1986.

She was a sales clerk and buyer at Rosiers Mercantile in Perryville.

She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Chester, Ill., was a past worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 46, was a member of the VFW Post 4282 Auxiliary and the senior citizens club of Perryville.

She is survived by a nephew, Leslie Burfiend of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the Young & Sons Funeral Chapel and again from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday,

The funeral will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Edwin Rueter officiating. Burial will be at the Home Cemetery in Perryville.
