SIKESTON -- Angela A. "Angel" Helm, 16, of Sikeston died Friday, May 10, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center from injuries received in a automobile accident.
She was born Dec. 21, 1979, at Salem, Ill., daughter of David W. and Linda S. Waltermate Helm.
Helm was a sophomore at Sikeston Senior High School. She was a member of the Sikeston Red Peppers club and played in the girls' summer softball league. She worked at Long John Silver's restaurant and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, Danny White of Sikeston; three sisters, Jennifer Hartzog and Sandy Pettis, both of Sikeston, and Jessica Helm of the home; maternal grandparents, Harold and Betty Shaver of Sikeston; paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Lee and Irene Helm of Salem, Ill.; and paternal grandmother, Winifred Helm of Kinmundy, Ill.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Harris officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
